Confession
Ok. Let’s get real for a second. Really real. I have a fabric problem. The sort of fabric problem that could completely drain both my checking and savings accounts in one fell swoop. We could call it an addiction, but that’s an ugly word. I prefer “problem.”
It’s the sort of problem that has resulted in a closet full of fabric plus three large rubbermaid totes full of fabric. It means that every time my Jo-Ann flyer comes in the mail, I automatically flip to the coupons and think to myself “It’s OK! I’m saving money!”
“What brings up this confession?” you ask, rolling your eyes at the fact that I’m confessing my fabric “problem” all over the interweb. One word: MODA.
Yes, Moda Fabrics is making my current “problem” so much worse. Behold their beautiful, evil offerings.

The last two are particularly difficult to resist. They are from the Ruby by Bonnie and Camille for Moda collection. They have little girl’s bedroom written all over them. One Etsy shop is selling one yard of each of the 36 fabrics in the collection for $360. Upon seeing that I thought to myself “$360? Totally reasonable for 36 yards of fabric.” (See what I’m saying? PROBLEM.)
I don’t see my little “problem” getting any better so long as Moda keeps coming out with beautiful fabrics. Good thing I have a husband who keeps a close eye on me and my fabric stash.
